April 1 and 2, 2023 were days of celebration, hope, and inspiration for all. Hundreds gathered for Be The Story, Youth for Christ Miami & Broward's (YFC) annual two night fundraiser. The event marked the 75th anniversary, and it was a powerful reminder of the impact God is making in Miami-Dade and Broward Counties.

Eight-hundred people from South Florida came together to celebrate the dynamic work that God is doing in our cities through YFC. The event included a proclamation given by Hialeah Mayor, Esteban Bovo, alongside Congressman Carlos Gimenez, Congresswoman Ileana Ros-Lehtinen, Congressman Mario Diaz-Balart, former Senator and current Miami-Dade Commissioner, Rene Garcia and State Representative David Borreto.

All were eager to hear stories from youth whose lives have been changed by YFC’s work. Many shared their personal testimonies of how they found hope, faith, and love through YFC’s programs and initiatives. It was an inspiring evening that highlighted just how much God is doing to transform youths' lives in South Florida.

Ronnie Lillard, AKA Reconcile, is a staffer at YFC and shared his story. "Every day ... I get to go into a facility and just wait for a moment where we can plant a seed that we hope takes root, because if that seed takes root, the power that it has ... It makes a difference in Eternity". No matter what our circumstances, this was a reminder that we can all bring about change that will last well beyond our own lives.
